Have you ever make a promise to yourself and then break it – just quietly?
But deep inside… it bothered you.
Promises that we make ourselves (and others) that we can or will not keep are many times just a brief moments in our everyday life – but they carry a huge impact how we can ultimately feel about ourselves.
Sometimes we say things in a hassle – we promise to our children to spend time with them later or look what they want to show us. We say that even though we know some level inside of us that we can`t be sure if we are able to keep that. Sometimes in a moment of anger, we promise not to let that laundry room to get out of our hands any longer! …but then, we just “forget” to act accordingly and ultimately we end up feeling bad about ourselves.
If you think about it…
Can you really accept yourself completely and be proud of who you are – if the same time you are not being true to yourself? If you are breaking promises to yourself or others – even if they are just tiny ones?
The real way to self-respect? There`s no hiding from yourself.
Your heart will know the truth.
When you act according to what you`ve said – even in the smallest things – you can stand your head high.
You can be proud of who you are! This is a major step towards learning to trust yourself.
Did you know that it`s your heart’s secret wish?
I love Oprah’s wise words;
Everybody wants to fulfill the highest, truest expression of yourself as a human being.
And you deserve it – you beautiful, admirable human being – you deserve your own full respect.
Let go of any mistakes you think you`ve done (we`ve all make mistakes) and give this practice a chance to help you feel good about yourself?? I will tell you my dearest friend that it`s not so hard at all.
Yes, it takes an effort.
It takes courage.
And you will need to take responsibility for yourself and your actions.
But you got everything you need inside of you to make it happen ♥
Start with buying yourself a beautiful notebook.
1. Write down every day everything you promise to yourself or others, what you are going to do.
2.The second key is; when you know that you are not able to act according to what you`ve promised – let everyone in involved to know that – as soon as you know it.
Life happens and things change – but the key is, to be honest, and clarify the situation as soon as the change occurs.
That`s how powerful we are when we take responsibility for our own actions and that`s is a great example why self-acceptance is the most important thing we can do to ourselves and others.
You will also learn self-discipline, which is a great trait for creative entrepreneurs.
It will be enough. Much love,
